Let the Games Begin (Sarcasm)

The self-proclaiming superheroes of the Discernment Blogging world gathered outside Tim Challies’ office to contend for the #2 most popular position in their ranks… there is sure to be much bloodshed because “God helps those who defame, insult, and deride others to get to the top.”  (sarcasm)

I have come to understand that apologetics and discernment ministry is meant to redeem and correct, “love covers a multitude of sins” I have come accross discernment blogs too where that element is missing, these are people who ciritisize everthying and dont actually stand for anything….. I was once accused by one of these blog folk for being a too much of a Calvinist 🙂 a badge I wear with honor.

Yes, part of loving is calling attention to danger. People may not like having their problem area exposed but it is for their good. 2 Timothy 4:2 says to, “preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.” Thanks, Simon.

I’ve switched off that particular website where Simon was accused of of being too much of a Calvinist. The arrogance and the vitriol displayed there is offputting.
