Is it really funny? It’s so true, I can’t laugh. Recently I was being attacked by some atheists and we got on the topic of the Bible being true from Genesis to Revelation. If it is, they argued, then you mean that you believe in a God who commands adulterers to be stoned? I answered “Absolutely”. They are very angry at me now, because I refuse to ignore parts of Scripture that they don’t like. *sigh* TOO many “Christians” today apologize for God when He doesn’t meet their standards of “goodness.”
Thank God, not all Christians do.

Your story is sad but true and plays out all over the world everyday. When God ceases to be conformed to the world’s image they get riled. And I agree that this stuff is not funny. It’s sort of a “if I don’t laught I will cry” type of thing. Also, sometimes people who would not read an article will look at the short humor bit and get a slap in the face by the satirical truth behind the concept.

Thanks for stopping by, CG. Visit anytime. I always appreciate the input of others.

Yeah. Thinking ‘happy’ thoughts will certainly broaden your mind. No wonder that adage says ‘the road to hell is paved with good intentions’. The Lord didn’t tell us to pussyfoot around the truth but to DECLARE it!
