Perry Noble Has Left the Building (Humor)

14 Mar

“Wait… I’m Perry Noble. You can’t do this to meeeeeeeeee”

Apparently the people in South Carolina don’t cotton to a pastor being too cool to hang out and get to know the church members…

Note: In case you don’t understand this humor bit, I have it from an impeccable source that Perry Noble told his church that if they wanted a pastor who they could have a BBQ & chat with, they were in the wrong church. Apparently he is just too cool for the common folks?

I saw a video of him saying something very similar a couple of years ago. Apparently, he not only doesn’t spend time with the members of his congregation, he also forgot to spend time in 1 John and John 1 and John 13… and was as absent as Thomas when Jesus said, “As the Father hath sent Me, so send I you,” in the upper room (John 20).

Yes, I don’t get the ‘servant pastor’ feeling from this guy either. Maybe he needs a new tattoo…

Yep. I agree with Mr Cardwell. As for Noble’s exit via the window, that’s a classic! Hey, it’s the quickest way to leave, don’t you think?

The window exit is strictly metaphorical, of course. I would hope people would not put up with such arrogance. This is a terrible example to set for inch-deep, superfluous people like the post-moderns tend to be. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
