I have been in prayer for Miley and all of those young men and ladies who have been used as tools molded by adults (handlers) in the entertainment industry to further satan’s attacks on our culture.
Our church culture, especially our young people absolutely love and adore these “famous” footnotes who have fallen and is influencing their lives in such a negative way. The self esteem movement, thank-you Dr. Dobson, has done great damage in searing the consciences of our culture creating a narcissistic society which says “I don’t do anything wrong.” So to try to reason with the young people of our day as well as parents who desire their children to be popular in keeping up with the spirit of our age, is almost non-negotiable in our proud American culture.

Truthinator, my heart is broken over what we are becoming….and the church culture looks just like those we label and spit upon as unsaved. It is hurtful. I plead Father, that You continue to show your mercy and grace upon an unchristian nation who is fooling itself with the pride of life, the lust of the eyes, and boasting of the tongue. We repent of our iniquity in the Name of our LORD and Risen Savior, Jesus Christ. He came to set the captives free, Praise Him. Amen.

Unless God gives an awakening here, this nation is done. Many churches are not only no different than the world, they raise their voices to protect the world in its current state. Thanks, Ann.

And I want to add through my tears, that if this were my daughter, I would desire that those who are born of the Spirit of God (born again), be prostrate on their faces before our Mighty and Majestic LORD interceding in prayer and petitions on behalf of my daughter, taking a stand against the devil’s schemes.

This my friend, is what we, who are crucified in Christ, are called to do. Who are we that God is mindful of us? I was once an undeserving sinner, headed for hell, until Jesus saved me, a wretched, worthless soul to society…..but…..He had other plans for me. PRAISE THE NAME JESUS!

And you will rarely, if ever, see Miley’s name on a church prayer request bulletin. We are too busy praying for money, more and more things (including more junk for our church buildings to impress the masses, and seeking the praise, applauses and accolades of men because after all, our faith is about us isn’t it……… all the while, there are those who are headed for hell and we don’t even care for the condition of their lost souls.

I am sorry, as I am just broken, broken, broken for our lost culture who claims the Name of Jesus.
    Just grieved.

I understand. That is exactly how we should all feel about it, too. Thanks.
