Awesome poem, I love it. What inspired you to right that?

Thanks, Todd. I had the idea while driving yesterday morning. My brain was juggling a bunch of ideas about current events from nuclear disaster in Japan to Rob Bell’s book. The quickflash pace at which these issues raced through my mind reminded me of the REM song because of the rate at which the song throws out topics and statements with the conclusion of ‘It’s the end of the world as we know it’…
Once the idea struck me to make a satire piece out of the song style, the rest was easy and took only 10 minutes or so. I come down on the conservative, literal translation of the Bible, be-true-to-scripture side so the Emergent and Seeker church stuff has always stuck out as the phony-baloney, man-centered, psycho babble that it is. Put this all together and, voila!
Thanks for visiting.
